Service Description

Starting with a sketch of your design, you will learn how to manipulate a block-pattern to fit your design and customize it to fit your body. After creating your pattern-draft we will make a mock-up of your design, do fittings, and adjustments, then onto the final patterns. From there you will finish the class by sewing your final pants! - Class starts Tuesday June 23rd, every Tuesday for 6 weeks (06/23 - 07/28) - Any classes we are able to do outside, I will absolutely! - 1 Makeup class will be offered, scheduled depending on group needs and timing - 5:30-8:30pm, lessons start after 6pm to allow wiggle room for students to get into the classroom. - Pattern paper, muslin included - I have 4 sewing machines available, bringing your own is encouraged! - No sewing experience needed, but basic understanding is helpful. Materials Needed *Note: All materials, besides final fabric, will be provided if needed, but inventory is limited so strongly suggested to bring your own, or purchase if you'd like to continue your design journey at home! - French Curve ruler - 2" X 18" Pattern making clear ruler - Hip Curve (optional) - Chalk - Pencils - Pins (pattern making pins preferable) - Pattern-tracer wheel
